Summary:

Provides employees at businesses of all sizes with one hour of paid sick time per 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours per year. Leave may be taken for the employee's or a family member's illness, or for certain reasons related to a public health emergency. Covered family members include a parent, child, spouse, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, reciprocal beneficiary, or person related by blood or affinity whose close association with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship. Would take effect on July 1, 2017.
